Yangshuo,Guilin

April 3nd,we started  the last stop of our short tour in Guilin---Yangshuo!We rent the two bicycles and enjoyed the beautiful scenery along the way---"Shili Scenery Gallery View",including Ancient Totem ,Rock Climbing Base,Elephant out and a Horse in to the Cave,Butterfly Spring,Yangjiao Hill,Riverside Holiday Hotel,Gongong Bridge,Big Banyan Tree,Jianshan Temple,Assembly Dragon Cave and Moon Hill!

Then we bought a lot of ethnic costumes!so crazy!Next,we visited West Street and Lijiang.West Street---As the oldest street in Yangshuo, its has a history of more than 1400 years.Keeping the traditional style of Guibei dwellings,West Street is place where perfect blending is presented between profound Chinese culture and western culture. So,its is also acknowledged as the Global
Village,Foreigers's Street and English Corner.

So we became free informal models for some photographers. One of the person who's a foreigner said that could i take pictures for you...Yeah,so nice trip!

  2. So many beautiful pictures. I like the bike where two people can ride. How much it cost you to rent the bike? Sleeping at night .. how much it cost you to pay for the room in Guiling?
If you like to learn about famous American Chinese authors, visit my blog and leave a comment. Tell me if you know any of them. Some are famous in America .. but probably not in China.

  3. Thanks YingYing. So to rent one bike with two seats is 25 RMB? How do you call the bike with two seats in Pinying?
Another question ...in China do you say 25 RMB or 25 Yuan?
You have many beautiful pictures and you can e-mail this blog to
    www.asiancha.com
and ask them if they like to publish some photos in their online magazine. The photo with the little girl with big eyes eating the yellow corn is wonderful.

    1. Giora,i saw this website you gave me,but i don't know how to update with my pics on this website...
      No,one is 30RMB,and other is 20RMB..In fact,we call"Zi xingche",you can add"Shuang ren zi xingche",but we usually call"Dan che/Zi xingche",whatever the bike with two seats or just one seat,right?
In China we say both 25RMB and 25Yuan,but most would like to say Yuan!

  4. Write an e-mail to AsianCha like this:

    Dear AsianCha
I like to submit my photos from my trip to Yangshu and Guiling for your issue #18. Here is my blog from April 5 with many photos, and you can choose the photos that you like. My friend from Canada really like the photo of the girl eating the corn. This is my first time submitting, so I appreciate your help.
    Thank you,
    Yingying Xue

    send the e-mail to
    submissions@asiancah.com

and inside the e-mail, put the blog from April 5. If they like some photos they will help you to download them from your blog to their website.

    good luck!

    1. All right,Giora!but you know the copyright of photos is mine!!and what's benefit for me to do this?

  5. The copyright for the photos is always yours, no matter where the photos appear. The benefits ar that you get credit for having your photos published. You can put it in your resume. By far more people read Asian Cha magazine than they read your blog. So, more people will know about you. You make connections, and good things can happen.
But, it's up to you. If you are not interested to share your photos with many people, then don't submit them.

I also love that you can buy tofu from a street vendor. It's not so common here. =(
