Strawberry

  3. When I wash strawberries, I only put a little bit salt because I don't like the mixed taste.

    By the way, my husband likes to add salt on cooked corn. Do you also do the same?
    Well, I prefer the natural sweet taste.

  4. A good reason for using salt when washing strawberries (or anything else) is that salt forces any insects which may be hiding to rush out, then you can be sure not to eat them!

    A good way to eat strawberries, which many people don't believe , is is with a good red wine (红葡萄酒), especially Bordeaux (波尔多葡萄酒).

    As for corn, a bit of salt enhances the sweetness of the corn, but hte best way to eat it is with lashings of melted butter and freshly ground black pepper. Unfortunately, it is never served that way here in China.

      I will try to eat it with a Good red wine!!but in future!huh

      For corn,i like it's been baking or cooking by water:)but it's also a best way what you said,indeed,it is never served that way here in China as you said!
